PLOVDIV SHUTTLE TOUR

  This tour will take you off to one of the most fertile lands in Bulgaria – the region of Upper Thracian Plain. Plovdiv is the second largest city in Bulgaria and in 2014 it was selected as Bulgarian host of European Capital of Culture in 2019. Because of this event Plovdiv has grown in culture, tourism and artist field and now offers to its citizens and guests a lot of interesting programmes, festivals and events.
  The meeting point of our tour is behind St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral at 08:30 o’clock.
  Then we will visit the incredible Plovdiv city where we will stop for lunch first. Around 14:30 o’clock we will make about 2 hours walking tour starting with the old town of Plovdiv where you will visit some old houses, the church St. Konstantin and Helena, the best preserved Roman Theater in Bulgaria, which is still used for live performances, the newly reopened Ancient Stadium, the Ethnographic Museum, also known as the Renaissance house. The guided walking tour continues to Dzhumaya square with the Mosque where the guide will give you some short break for shopping or coffee. Your trip back to Sofia with an expected time of arrival in the capital will finish between 19:00 and 19:30 o’clock.
