1 Day / SOFIA - PERPERIKON - ZLATOGRAD
  Our meeting point in Sofia is behind St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral at 09:00 o’clock. After 3.00 hours drive we will visit the ancient Thracian city of Perperikon. This archaeological medieval complex is one of the oldest memorial monuments, completely cut into the rocks. The guide will explain you about the history, the location characteristics and the name of this mystical place. We will make a lunch after which will departure to Tatul sanctuary which according to the scientists opinion it was dedicated to Orpheus – an ancient Greek legendary hero. After Tatul we head up to Zlatograd – a charming small village located on the boundary between its central and eastern parts. Check-in and overnight in Zlatograd.
2 Day / ZLATOGRAD - BACHKOVO MONASTERY - ASEENS'FORTRESS - PLOVDIV
  Breakfast. A walking guided tour within the city – together will visit the Ethnographic Areal Complex consisting of the ethnographic museum and workshops of many trades, including the operation of the historical water utility system. This open air museum of customs and culture has also become a part of the everyday life to the local people.
  A little before noon we will start again our bus trip as we have to reach the next tourist sight in our itinerary – Bachkovo monastery – the second biggest monastery in Bulgaria. Over there you will have enough time to listen the guide story about the monastery, to make some photos of this beautiful place and to have a lunch.
  The Aseens’fortress is the next and last stop for the current day – a medieval fortress where the most impressive thing is the view. Please wear comfortable flat shoes as the terrain is very stony and steep. Overnight in Plovdiv.
3 Day / PLOVDIV - SOFIA
  Breakfast. The third day is dedicated to Plovdiv – you will have one full day in this wonderful Bulgarian cultural city. You will visit the old town with the stone-paved streets, the old houses – monuments of the culture, the Roman stadium, the Roman Forum, the Amphitheater, the archaelogical complex Nebet Tepe situated on the hilltop plateau , the St. St. Constantine and Helena church (it’s considered to be among the oldest churches in the city), the Mosque on the main Djumaia Square. After the guided walking tour you will have enough free time to explore the city by your own – to have a good lunch in some of the numerous nice restaurants, to expand your walk or to make shopping as the city is extremely appropriate place for this purpose. At around 15:30 we head up western to Sofia. Approximate arrival time in Sofia – 17:30 o’clock.
