Breakfast. Departure to Rila Monastery - the largest and probably the most famous monastery in Bulgaria, situated in Rila Mountain. Our tour continues with a review of the Boyana Church, dating back to the 13th century, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Our next stop is the National Museum of History. It is a national treasure of Bulgaria Republic and one of the biggest historic museums of Balcans. It houses over 650,000 cultural monuments and a huge archeological and historical archive. 3 Day / Sofia – Kazanluk – Nessebar
Breakfast. Departure to Kazanlak, known as the center of the Rose Valley. We will look at the Rose Museum where we will meet the history of the rose and learn where and how the rose oil is produced. 4 Day / Nessebar – Varna – Madara – Rousse
Breakfast. Nessebar is one of the oldest cities in Europe known as Mesimvria. The town is declared as an architectural and archaeological reserve. Historic monuments are preserved in the Old City. You can visit: The Archaeological Museum, The Ethnographic Museum, The Church of Sts. Stefan, Church of Sts. Spas. The new part of the city is characterized by modern architecture, it has a wide variety of accommodation, restaurants, discos. Departure to the sea capital of Bulgaria - Varna, was named Odessos. Interesting landmarks in the city are: the Sea Garden, the Dolphinarium, the Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium Nikolay Copernicus, the Varna Necropolis - the oldest gold treasure in the world, the Pencho Slaveykov National Library, the Varna Archaeological Museum, the Military Maritime Museum, the Museum of New History, Ethnographic Museum, Renaissance Museum. 5 Day / Rousse – Sveshtari – Sreburna – Rousse
Breakfast. We will begin our tour by visiting the incredible tomb in Sveshtari, dating back to the 3rd century BC, located in the archaeological reserve "Sboryanovo". A Thracian tomb with unique architecture and decoration, which rank it in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the afternoon, we continue to the Srebarna National Reserve, which covers Lake Srebarna and its lands. His glory is related to the fact that he is right on the way of the migratory birds from Europe to Africa - Via Pontica, on the other hand, with the unique and diverse species of waterfowl in it. Because of the rare and vanishing species of birds in 1983 Lake Srebarna is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The aim is to preserve the unique biodiversity, which has been known to the Bulgarian and European scientific community since the beginning of the twentieth century. Return to Rousse. Architecture in the central part of the city is in the Baroque and Rococo style of the late XIX century and early 20th century. Rousse is one of the biggest centers of the Bulgarian National Revival and an important center of the Bulgarian national liberation movement. Interesting landmarks are: Zahari Stoyanov House Museum, House-Museum The City Life of Rousse, Regional Historical Museum, Pantheon of the National Revival, The Church of Sts. Breakfast. Departure to Ivanovo village, situated in northern Bulgaria, Rousse regionî. Visiting the unique "Ivanovo Rock Churches" included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. They are distinguished from the other preserved rock monastery complexes in Bulgaria with well-preserved frescoes. The monastery was founded in the 1920s by the monk Joakim, who later became a Bulgarian patriarch. The Bulgarian kings Yoan Assen II, Yoan Alexander and other representatives of the royal court were among the donors of the monastery, and to this day their portraits have been preserved. Departure to Veliko Tarnovo, the medieval capital of Bulgaria.
